Journal16 is a web directory cataloguing active websites across 22 subject sections. The directory covers a broad range of sectors — from dentistry and legal services to gaming platforms and travel operators — providing a simple, organised record of what is operating on the web.
Every site in the directory was submitted by its operator. Once received, each submission goes through a brief review to confirm the site is active and can be categorised appropriately. Sites that pass review are filed against one of the 22 sections and appear in the directory public index.
The index is not ordered by authority, traffic, or any commercial arrangement. Entries appear in the order they were approved and are not ranked against one another. Browsing the directory gives a straightforward cross-section of what has been submitted, without editorial weighting.
Journal16 does not charge for listings. Operators who want their site included can submit it through the add page; the review process is straightforward and most decisions are made promptly.
